It’s all John Terry’s fault !

Hello to you all.

It’s been totally grey and rainy and as bloody cold as a bailif’s heart on this side of the Thames, and so no one seems to be arsed going out of their home to sell us stock. And so it is that we have virtually ran out of vinyl to put out this week-and yes, I am blaming it on the weather…why not ? Actually, if not the weather, then surely it’s John Tery’s fault…

But hey, I am full of resources and I was certainly not going to let down our crowd of regular Saturday morning goers, especially as I expect them to be waiting in the rain tomorrow and they wouldn’t be that impressed if that was all in vain…

So I have go deep into our coffers and came back all stuffy nose from the dust, but toatlly thrilled by some of the vinyl nuggets I dug from our surprisingly rat free vaults.. a bit of name dropping to make you salivate :

Nico, Dead Can Dance, Cabaret Voltaire, Underworld, Cluster and Eno, Eno and Byrne, Billy Preston, Mr Scruff, Dj Shadow, Magma, Nicolas Collins, Legendary Pink dots, The Las, Joy Division, Severed heads, MX 80, Sudden Sway, PJ Harvey, Cupol, Charlatans, Daevid Allen, Meat Beat Manifesto, Front line assembly, Gomez, Guns and roses….

There’s also a few quality reggae 12’s and some nice 80’s electro pop. It won’t completely fill up our new in rack this week, but it still will be well tasty-especially as our stock from previous weeks is still more than looking good.

You’ll also fin a superb selection of CDs, especially if you’re into Soul and Funk and Reggae, but also Alternative rock and Metal. As usually, you can feed your wax habit cheaper than a big mac meal. And anybody spending over £20 tomorrow will get a 10% discount, believe!

And don’t worry, Tom is coming over from his manor in Scotland next week to take care of the business and fill in the drawers with stock. I believe.

Oh and one last thing : Thank you all for your continuous support!

Ciao for now.

Philippe rat records.
